Writing: Copywriting, Features, Interviews
Life as a Freelancer
Writing is my first great love. I started at age six and I will quit when I draw my last breath.

I've written for ad agencies, PR companies, newspapers, investment
houses, B2B agencies, financial institutions, new media start-ups, insurance giants, small businesses and big corporations.

My specialty? Making difficult topics simple, but keeping them interesting. Knowing the audience and writing for a reason.

I've produced ad copy, TV and radio commercials, internal newsletters, external newsletters, web copy, annual reports, features, in-depth interviews, marketing copy, promotional material, brochures and a book.

I'm the Business of Art columnist for Somerset Studio Magazine and write a column for Stampington's new Art Quilt magazine. I'm working on a book, and writing the book proposal.

Using Your Team & a Freelancer  If you would rather use your own writers, but they are over- worked, ask me for help. I can step in and work on a project to free up your writers, or I can train your writers in a style or method they are unfamiliar with.

Web writers often stumble over detailed reports; marketing writers may have problems conducting in-depth interviews. I can help: 286-6220 (Area Code 480).
Advantages of Using a Freelancer
A freelancer can often get the work done faster and more concisely. Working on your project in her office can get the work done without interruptions, meetings and distractions.

A person not involved in your corporate culture, your business and your day-to- day teams can offer a fresh perspective.

Because a freelancer is not building a career in your department, her viewpoint is less constrained and more focused on the outcome of the writing. A freelancer can often represent the views of your client and speak to them more clearly than your own writers.
