These journals can be used to write in or to alter. Because I like filling journals, or using one journal per story, they
don't contain many pages.

(Below) Some journals tell a story in words and pictures. This accordion-fold journal shows an angel in a stark desert scene.
There are flowers and grasses, and the clouds rise from behind the mountains. The words are, "I return with strength."

Sometimes, journal entries come with ephemera--concert tickets, a pressed flower, a handwritten note. This journal is made
of envelopes. Write on the outside, store the keepsake inside.

For the center spread of the "hidden" journal (below),
I decided to decorate both visible sides. It leaves enough room for writing, but makes the page look more visually interesting.
I chose to leave the sides matching the other sheets, but could have created a center spread that had no flaps showing, or
both flaps showing.
